Maxima These maximas are great for those who like clams and want to add a little color but don't want to spend the big jingle on ultra clams. These clams have a purple mantle with electric blue highlights. Note that color variations can occur. The clams pictured to the left were under a lot of actinic lighting. Clams of this size will need supplemental feeding in order to thrive as their small size doesn't allow themselves to fully sustain themselves. These clams will need reef tank lighting to thrive.
