Halloween Hermit Crab Trizopagurus strigatus These are striking hermit crabs which unfortunately are not reef safe. Funny how the most eye catching odd balls work out that way. Anyways, this crab has a flattened body so it prefers the shells of cone snails to make it's home. It will eat algae as well as any other marine foods offered. Best kept to a fish only tank. It can grow to 3 inches but this takes a very long time. |
