Peppermint Shrimp Peppermint shrimp are great little shrimp and highly sought after by reef enthusiasts for their aiptasia anemone appetite. As most reefers are know too well these little anemones grow fast, sting expensive corals, and reproduce in unbelievable numbers just to spite the reefer who tries to eradicate them by hand. Peppermint shrimp are not guaranteed to eat these anemones but they are known for taking care of them. These shrimp are also great additions because any pair will mate together and provide your corals and other critters with great food each time they release their eggs. These shrimp often do better in numbers. |
