These shrimp are awesome little critters. They are nearly blind and live symbiotically with many gobies. The shrimp is nearly blind and because of this is vulnerable to other which would love nothing more than to eat it. The gobies need burrows to live in in order to protect themselves from pedators. So that brings these two together. The shrimp builds burrows for the goby, and the goby lets the shrimp know there's danger about.

This shrimp is also amazing in how it captures it's own food. Using their large claw they make a snapping noise which stuns small fish or other foods which come by the shrimp just long enough for the shrimp to grab it. Often these shrimp are confused for mantis shrimp when people hear a clicking noise in their reef.
