Moon Stone Coral This coral is also known as pineapple coral. Easily confused with Favites sp. this brain coral requires much of the same care as Favites sp. This coral is generally a hardy coral if given the appropriate conditions and will adapt to all reef tank lighting from pc, vho, to metal halide. These corals often send out sweeper tentacles at night which can be surprisingly long so care must be taken when deciding where you will place this coral in your tank. This coral will also feed at night so adding bits of raw shrimp or other marine fare will be greatly appreciated and may even get your coral to start reproducing! |
