Branching
Porites Porites, once adapted to aquarium life, are quite hardy. They thrive under bright light and high currents. They can often be found with christmas tree worms which burrow into the skeleton of the porites. This does not harm the porites but if the porites die then the christmas tree worms will as well. The color of the porites often gives the keeper a clue as to it's lighting preference with the more brightly colored ones requiring a higher light environment. |
