I am going to try a new shipping plan. Gas prices have skyrocketed and that sends the cost of shipping, especially overnight, higher and higher.
With this new plan, I will be absorbing some of the expense associated with your shipping. The cost for fedex overnight shipping of your livestock will now be a $35 flat fee plus 10% of the order subtotal. This includes priority
delivery and will apply to all livestock except where shipping is included in certain offers. So, let's say your order subtotal is $100. Your shipping will be the $35 flat fee plus $10 which would be 10% of the $100.
Customers in CT, NY, MA, and NJ will pay a $25 flat fee plus 10% of the order subtotal. CT residents are required by law to pay 6% sales tax. The shopping cart will not add these charges to your order so it will be automatically added to your
invoice when it's processed. Adding corals to the pre-packaged clean up crews or build your own will be charged the actual shipping accrued for the weight added as always. This charge will cover all expenses. There are no hidden fees
such as box charges or heat/cold packs. This new shipping plan does not affect the clean up or build your own crews in any way. Again shipping charges cannot be refunded or credited unless the carrier caused the problem and they honor the claim for shipping.
Often times bad weather and other acts of God will void any guarantee on shipping from the carrier. Please just select ground shipping as the method when placing a livestock order as your shipping total will be added in to your invoice
manually. If you pay via PayPal it will force you to pay for shipping. If the amount paid is more than the total with the above plan you will be refunded. If it is less you will be required to pay the balance of shipping.
For clean up crews which include shipping and the build your own crews which qualify, just select ground shipping and disregard the cost. You will not be charged any shipping fee for these items.
Saturday delivery will incur a fee of $12.50. If you have your shipment held for pickup at your local FedEx station, then the fee is waived by FedEx.
Replacement bulbs will incur an extra shipping fee as they must be packed in a way which will insure their safe arrival. The fee for these replacement bulbs will be as follows. Bulbs which are 24" in length $15. Bulbs 36" - 48" $20. Bulbs which are 60" $25 and bulbs which are 72" $35. The shopping cart does not automatically add these charges so they will be applied to your invoice.
We are sorry but livestock cannot be returned. Drygoods may be returned if they are in their original box with all original instructions, parts, etc, are unused, and are in resalable condition. You can return drygoods that meet that
criterion for exchange or credit. There will be a 15% restocking fee for drygoods returned for credit. Please do not just return your items. You must contact us first. You are responsible for the return shipping of goods.
Goods may only be returned within 30 days of purchase. If you refuse delivery you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping as well as the 15% restocking fee. This will also terminate all future business.
If your drygoods are damaged upon arrival we must be notified within 24 hours. We will assist you in filing any claims necessary with the carrier. Never at any time use our shipping account number to return products.
